Skoda launches new top spec Yeti

SKODA has launched a new flagship Laurin & Klement version of its family friendly Yeti model – with the emphasis on extra value.

The new range-topper features the same technical specification and features as the Yeti Elegance, but includes more than £4,000 worth of extras for a £2,000 higher tab.

Laurin & Klement is the badge the Czech brand has traditionally given to its highest spec models, the name paying tribute to Skoda’s history as a bicycle, motorcycle and car manufacturer and its founders Václav Laurin and Václav Klement.

The newcomer is available only as a four-wheel-drive model and comes with a choice of three engines - the petrol-powered 1.8-litre TSI 160PS 4x4 plus a pair of diesels in the 2.0-litre TDI CR 140PS 4x4 DSG and 2.0-litre TDI CR 170PS 4x4.

Added exterior features include 17-inch alloys, silver roof rails, black side protective moulding with chrome ledge, auto-dimming driver’s door mirror and an L&K inscription on the front mud guards.

Move into the cabin and there is a Columbus sat-nav with DAB radio, heated windscreen, panoramic sunroof, park assist, black leather seats with silver stitching and L&K logo, a three-spoke black multi-function leather steering wheel and piano black cabin inlays.

Prices are from £24,835 for the 1.8 TSI 160PS 4x4 model to £26,400 for the 2.0 TDI CR 170PS 4x4.
